Meet John

Proven. Local. Ready.

John Holt has spent his career keeping Pee Dee families safe, building a business here at home and serving his church. Now he's running to bring that same work ethic to the South Carolina Senate.

Education

USC School of Law

John earned his law degree at the University of South Carolina and chose to put it to work for the people of his home region.

Public safety

Former violent crimes prosecutor

As a prosecutor in the 4th and 12th Judicial Circuits, John took on violent offenders and stood with victims and their families in the courtroom.

Business

Small business owner

John knows what it takes to meet a payroll, serve customers and grow a business in South Carolina, and he knows how government can help or get in the way.

Faith

Baptist deacon

John serves as a deacon in his Baptist church, where service to others is a calling to live out every day.

Family comes first

For John, family is at the center of everything. It's why he cares about safe neighborhoods, good jobs and strong communities, and it's the measure he'll use for every vote he casts in Columbia.
